Induction sealing wads (also called induction liners or foil seals) are specialized packaging components used to create a secure, airtight, and tamper-evident seal on containers. They are commonly applied to plastic and glass bottles or jars containing liquids, powders, or granules.

These wads are made of multiple layers—typically pulp board, wax, aluminum foil, and heat-seal polymer—that work together to bond the seal to the container’s rim when exposed to electromagnetic induction heat. During the sealing process, an induction machine generates heat that melts the polymer layer, allowing it to fuse tightly to the container opening. Once sealed, the wad forms a protective barrier that preserves product freshness, prevents leakage, and enhances consumer safety.

Induction sealing wads are widely used across pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, cosmetics, agrochemicals, lubricants, and other industries where product integrity is essential.
